1000 Downloads and Counting

Here at Hopped Up Studios we are please to announce that we have hit over 1000 downloads on our app Expense Reminder. We used a lot of different methods to reach this goal. We mostly used promoting apps and tried to get our app published on review sites as much as we could. As a startup with very little revenue coming in, advertising budget is very low.

Special Thanks to the following website for helping out a startup:

The Beginning of Something Great

Hello everyone!

This is Brady, one of the founders and chief designer at Empty Keg Studios. We are currently ramping up all of our sites and social media for a first launch of a beta app that we have been developing for a long time. I will tell you a little about the beginnings of this software organization and a little bit about what we are working on.

There are currently two people working on a couple applications for personal use. We are close to launching our first beta of Expense Reminder. An Android application that can remind people of when their everyday expenses are due. We know that there are many apps out there that already do this, but what makes this app different from all the rest are three things that we will incorporate into all of our apps. Quality, usability, and design. We wanted a lean app that will look amazing, and be easy to use. I personally do not like giving away my banking information to other sites and apps out there just so they can remind me. For me, on a cell phone, all I want is a reminder.

In the work silo, we also have an app called Home Brewer. This app will help out home brewers everywhere to track their progress, save recipes, and connect with other home brewers. We will start development on this app once we have our first release of Expense Reminder on the Play Store.

We will release a version of one app, and then switch development to the other, and so on and so forth. We hope to release the first beta of Expense Reminder by February, but, we may get lucky and release it in January.

In our team, we have Josh and Brady. Both of us are software professionals in Northeast Ohio. Brady is a Quality Assurance professional with a strong passion for design and usability. Josh is a Developer with a great sense of usability and architecture. Josh is Co-Founder and Chief Architect with Brady is Co-Founder and Chief Designer. Maggie will also be our Documentation and Publications Specialist handling anything where English works take affect.

We will be posting updates here regularly, so please subscribe and keep up to date. We will be offering closed betas here first and giving away premium features for free to some subscribers.
